PAST TO THE FUTURE

I'm an archivist, organizer, and time traveler.

 

My name is Kiley Eberhardt and I am your pilot into the past. I am an archivist that has always loved working with photos because they are more than just a piece of paper, they are a snippet of the past. I started working with photos when I was young: making scrapbooks, photo projects, collages, and playing around with basic photography. My interests led me to work for various photographers and studios. I then started organizing photos for people privately. Almost everyone I knew who had hardcopy photos swore that they would one day get around to organizing them. Even when my own parents retired, this was something they put on the, "After Retirement" list. It took another two years of saying they’d get around to it before they gave up and let me take over.  

 

I’ve done everything from photo editing to creating albums for people. Each client is different and has specific wants and needs. I enjoy working with people and their photos because I understand how important their archives are not only to themselves, but, to their family and future generations. Going through someone’s photos is a very personal matter and I feel honored when someone shares them with me. (Also, you can be assured of complete confidentiality as I am the only person who handles your photos).

 

 By the time I am done with a project, I have a very close connection with each client. From their parents’ first dates to the birth of their children, I get to see the timeline of someone’s life. It’s more than just sorting though pictures; it’s giving someone the gift of knowing their memories are preserved and easily accessible. Many clients use PTTF simply so that they can get organized. They then find they can easily share their photos with their family and future generations and they really realize the value of what PTTF does.
